[Online International Workshop] - "Tradition and Modernity and Korean Political Philosophy"

The Center of K-Academic Expansion Project, affiliated to the Institute of Korean Philosophy and Culture (IKPC), Sungkyunkwan University, in collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong’s Center for East Asian and Comparative Philosophy(CEACOP) will be holding an online workshop entitled “Tradition and Modernity and Korean Political Philosophy” on November 11 and 12, 2022.
This workshop featuring nine scholars studying political philosophy in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States aims to explore political philosophy in the contemporary Korean context, in which tradition, deeply rooted in Confucian culture and modernity, commonly identified with liberalism and democracy, are engaged in a constant and creative dialogue. Please check the attached schedule below for details.
In addition, the presentations given at the workshop will be produced as online lectures by the Center of K-Academic Expansion Project and made available on domestic and overseas MOOC sites. We ask for your interest and participation in this meaningful event.
