   Our laboratory focuses on the synthesis, characterization and application of novel biomaterials for theranostics (combined delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic agent). A variety of biodegradable polymers and smart hydrogels containing bioactive molecules have been utilized to acheve sustained release and target-specific delivery.

  Recently, novel temperature- and pH- sensitive block copolymers were synthesized successfully for effcient delivery of protein & drug as well as for therapeutic and diagnostic molecular imaging.
