Outcome: At this academic conference, institutions under the East Asian Academy took the lead in exploring the value of harmony from an East Asian perspective through a broad spectrum of disciplines and methodologies. This endeavor aimed not only to examine traditional aspects of East Asian studies but also to seek ways in which they could contribute to contemporary society. The conference provided an opportunity to share diverse academic approaches spanning philosophy, literature, history, political science, and sociology. Furthermore, it served as an interdisciplinary forum for discussing the present and future of East Asian studies.
