Purpose:

The College of Confucian Studies and Eastern Philosophy, the Institute of East Asian Studies, and the Academy of East Asian Studies at Sungkyunkwan University held an academic exchange conference with the School of Philosophy at Renmin University of China. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Confucian Studies, the Director of the Academy of East Asian Studies, the Director of the Institute of Confucian Culture, and the Dean of the School of Philosophy at Renmin University, making it a meaningful occasion for sharing the significance of academic exchange and concluding an official academic exchange agreement.

In addition, Professor Zang Fengyu, Dean of the School of Philosophy, gave an academic presentation, followed by presentations from Professor Kim Doil, Director of the Institute of Confucian Philosophy and Culture, and Professor Hong Lin of the Academy of East Asian Studies. A discussion session followed the presentations.

This event served not only as a platform for the tangible outcome of an academic exchange agreement but also as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for more in-depth joint research and collaboration between the institutions in the future.
