The topic: East Asian Coexistence in the Post-pandemic World and the Future of East Asian Thought

Co-organized by: SKKU’s Institute of Confucian Philosophy and Culture, the Center for Contemporary Studies of East Asian Classics and Critical Confucianism(CCECC), and the National Research Foundation of Korea
The Conference invited scholars fromfour different countries (Korea, the United States, Japan, and China) withvarious disciplines to present their specialized research on the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Their papers provided an opportunity to present fresh perspective and new methods in the field of East Asian thought, crossing over the narrow research boundaries. Also, three graduate students (Niki Koroshi, Harada Megumi, and Ko Yoon-sook) from the Confucian Culture Research Institute and theBK21 Education Research Group have gained valuable experience of presenting their research that would help them to grow into full-fledged scholars.
