Title: Desingularization of the genus one Stable map space and splitting of the Gromov-Witten invariants.
Abstract:
For computing genus 1 Gromov-Witten invariant of complete intersections in the projective spaces, A. Zinger developed a method splitting a genus 1 invariants by a reduced invariant and genus 0 invariants.
Reduced invariant can be computed by some Euler class of the main component of some desingularization of the stable map space whose target is a projective space. This desingularization is called Vakil-Zinger desingularization. This desingularization is re-described in an algebro-geometrical way later(By Y. Hu and J. Li).
In this talk, we will talk about the Idea of the desingularization of the genus 1 stable map space and how this desingularization give us a way of splitting of genus 1 invariants.
