1. 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm : Group 1 presentation & discussion
- Title : Spectral properties of Riordan graphs and related open problems
- Speaker : Seyed Ahmad Mojallal (SKKU)
- Abstract : The Riordan graphs are a far-reaching generalization of the well known and well studied Pascal graphs
and Toeplitz graphs, and also some other families of graphs. The Riordan graphs are proved to have a number of interesting (fractal) properties, which can be useful in creating computer networks with certain desirable features, or in obtaining useful information when designing algorithms to compute values of graph invariants.
In this talk we present several results on the spectral properties of Riordan graphs containing the eigenvalues, Laplacian eigenvalues,
the nullity and determinant of Riordan graphs. Finally we give some open problems on Riordan graphs.
2. 3:30 pm - 4:30pm : Group 3 presentation & discussion
- Title : Introduction to Multivariate Quadratic Public Key Cryptography
- Speaker : Numhun Koo (SKKU)
- Abstract : A multivariate quadratic public key cryptography (MQ-PKC) is one of the most promising alternatives for classical PKC after the eventual coming of a quantum computer. Cryptosystems in this area are divided into two main types, big field type and single field type.
In this talk, we introduce how to construct cryptosystem and give some examples for each type.
We also briefly mention about several basic attack methods, and recent research trends in this area.
